OUR VISION you can fly
Our aim is to help our youth become meaningful contributors to the well-being of their immediate family, their community and the local economy. We achieve this by supporting skills development and training courses across a number of disciplines.
Our goal is to give our local community reason for optimism (hope), purpose (self worth) and prosperity (self-sufficiency).
SUPPORT OUR BRAND
At HopeHQ our products are all PROUDLY HAND-CRAFTED, HAND-PAINTED and made from NATURAL WOOD. View our range of BIRDS FOR SALE currently showcased on this site and at our workshop premises. HopeHQ is essentially a non profit company operating a successful workshop -for profit- all profit is channeled back into the supported skill centers and the community.
OUR WORK
By continuing with the bird crafting operation in the same time-honoured artisan tradition, we are able to raise funds for reinvestment into our other on-site Craft and Skill Development centers: iThemba (sewing, crafting and computer training) and Hands & Heart (technical skills, basic woodworking, metal working and painting skills).
We currently uplift approximately 80 unemployed young people each year.
OUR TEAM
Integral to the success of a project of this nature we have a group of dedicated voluntary workers who have a heart for skills development and who spend time planning and coordinating . Richly rewarding in every way it is work with a light and happy heart.
